Principal's Message
Dear King George Families,
Last night's Spooky Fall Dance was an incredible success!
We are so grateful to the many volunteers who supported the planning, organization, and execution of the evening. Students, siblings, and families enjoyed a variety of activities, including crafts, snacks, and, of course, time on the dance floor in our gym.
It was wonderful to see families coming together to connect, laugh, and enjoy time with one another outside of the regular school day. Events like these help strengthen the sense of community that makes King George such a special place, and we deeply appreciate everyone who contributed their time and energy to make the evening possible.
As we welcome November, we wish all of our families a wonderful weekend, whether you are celebrating Halloween, trick-or-treating, spending time with loved ones, or simply enjoying a well-deserved break.
Bus Evacuation Drills
Our first of two bus evacuation drills took place on Thursday, October 29.
These practice drills give students the opportunity to learn how to safely use the emergency exits on the bus should an emergency ever occur.
We would like to commend our students on the excellent job they did during the drill. They were respectful, attentive, and worked together to exit the buses quickly and safely.
If your child rides the bus, please take a moment to let them know how proud we are of their efforts and cooperation during this important safety exercise!
Health Notice | Head Lice
As shared last week, we currently have several reported cases of head lice across various grades.
As a precaution, we ask all parents and guardians to check their child's head frequently.
