Dear KGS Families
At this time, the CBE is preparing for an Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) strike beginning on Monday, Oct. 6. Here is what this means for CBE families:
All classes will be cancelled. Do not send your child to school.
Transportation will be cancelled. Do not leave your child at a bus stop.
All updates will be posted to the CBE Labour Action Page.
We are deeply grateful to be part of such a supportive community. Thank you, families, for your messages of support. We are so touched by the heartfelt sidewalk chalk notes on all the sidewalks surrounding the school, the emails, and the cards. Thank you.
Off-Site & On-Site Activities
All off-site and on-site events and activities must be cancelled from October 6 – October 31. This includes School Council meetings, Healthy Hunger and the Fall dance.
French Classes for Adults
Chinook Learning Services are offering French courses for adults at GP Vanier School. Level 1 will be starting in October and Level 2 is scheduled as part of their winter programming. For more information, please visit the link below.
