Oct. 30 - Nov. 3 Update | Soccer Field, Social Media, Fun Lunches, Halloween
Dear families of King George School,
Thanks to all families who came out to the Halloween Dance on Thursday. We had a successful turn out and everyone had a great time! We appreciate our School Council for organizing this family event to bring our community together and raise funds to support school initiatives.
Soccer Field Maintenance
We are asking for your support in maintaining our school grounds. During after school hours, students and/or community members are digging a hole in the soccer field. We ask that if you access our space after hours, ask your child not to dig. Thank you for your help!
Social Media Survey
As a school community, we are considering which social media platforms to use to keep our school community informed. We will continue sending out our weekly updates through email and posting them on our website. Please fill out the following survey: https://forms.office.com/r/rDTZTGhikZ
Healthy Hunger
We want to let you know that the Healthy Hunger dates for the 2023-2024 school year are now all listed. You can order this once-a-month fun lunch for your children and it serves as a fundraiser for our school council.
Halloween Costume/Dress Up Day
On Monday October 31, we will have Halloween dress up day at school. Staff and students are encouraged to wear costumes. The type of costume should be considered for ages 5-11 and not include weapons, fearful, violent, gory attire, full face masks or promote cultural appropriation. Students must come to school already dressed, and the costume must be comfortable for all day wear.
