Dear families
We were proud of our grade 4 and 5 Choir Club students who performed for their families at last night’s spring choir club concert. They sang beautifully and we were all so impressed with their ability to remember all the lyrics to all the songs and in three languages! Bravo! A Huge thank you to Mme Rosie for the work she put into running this club and organizing the spring concert. We are also grateful to our parent volunteer, Sue who accompanied the choir in rehearsals and at the concert, on keyboard. It was a great success!.
Library Exchange – Year End Process
We want to remind you that there will be no new books signed out to the students for the 2024-2025 school year. We ask for your support in ensuring all books are returned to school by June 13. All books that have not been returned, parents will be required to pay for any books that have not been returned, it will be posted on your MyCBE.
Curt Young Concert – June 9
Curt Young will be offering two concerts to our students on June 9. Curt Young weaves storytelling and music to share his Indigenous culture with others. For more information, please visit this link. We also want to thank our School Council for their support with this event!
IPP – Final Review
If your child is supported at school through an Individual Program Plan, the final review of the school year will be sent home early next week. Please make sure to return the signature page to your child’s classroom teacher by June 18. Thank you!
All About Me Day - Friday June 13 Spirit Day
Our student advisory came up with the idea to have an On All About Me Day on Friday, June 13. Students are encouraged to express themselves by wearing clothes that show off their favorite colors and/or that show off their hobbies, interests, heritage, or even a shirt with their name on it or of their own creation! It’s your time to shine—because there’s no one else quite like YOU! Students will be encouraged to share with their classmates and teachers about what they chose to wear and why it represents them.
