Dear families,

Thank you to all who joined us for movie night. We were so happy to see many families coming together to watch a movie in our gymnasium and enjoy popcorn and treats. Thank you to our amazing School council who organized this event.

School spirit was especially evident today for class matching day. Some of the themes we saw were crazy hair, pyjamas, beach wear, hats and jerseys! It was a lot of fun!

National Indigenous People’s Day – June 21

On Friday, June 21st, our staff and students will be recognizing National Indigenous People’s Day. We will be gathering as a school to acknowledge the land, to reflect on the learning we engaged in for our TRC Commitment, this year, and we will share renewed TRC Commitment for the 2024-2025 school year.

We invite all students to wear orange to commemorate National Indigenous People’s Day on June 21.

Data Access for Students Leaving CBE

Student leaving CBE will lose access to CBE Google Workspace accounts, including any data, files, emails and files shared with others. Before June 30, students must save any files they wish to retain in personal storage locations.  Students leaving the CBE can learn how to save their files by following these instructions.

Picnic Lunches

Now that we have warmer weather, students will be eating outside for lunch, when the weather permits. As always please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather, and they have a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

Individual Program Plan

If your child has an Individual Program Plan (IPP), you should have received it this week. Please take the time to read through it, sign the signature page and return it to school as soon as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your child’s teacher. Thank you!

Lost & Found

We have many items in the Lost and Found. If your child is missing an item or piece of clothing, please send a note with them to school so they can check with their lunchroom supervisor. All unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity at the end of the school year.
