This was our first week with Alien In-Line. Students are having so much fun building physical literacy skills through inline skating. Each class also had their “Meet & Greet” with Yellow Steps Facilitator, Jenn Doeve in preparation for our Place Based Learning residency beginning next week. Thank you to all our volunteers for helping to make these learning experiences possible for our students.

Next Friday, May 15, is a Non-Instruction Day in the CBE. There is no school for students. Please do not send your child to school.

My 1st Ride Program

School bus Orientation - The CBE offers a school bus orientation program called My 1st Ride. This program is designed to familiarize students with taking a yellow bus to and from school.

The orientation is aimed at first-time riders, students with special transportation needs and older students. Each group is offered an orientation session to meet their diverse needs. The orientation typically takes place annually in May and consists of a 20-minute presentation followed by a short ride on a school bus. Each new rider will also be given a certificate of completion.
