Dear families,
We were really proud of all of our students on their recent field trips. They were true ambassadors for King George and showed exemplary character and citizenship when engaging in learning outside of the school. Most recently we were told how impressed Winsport was with our grade 4 students during their skiing field trip. The staff at Winsport recognized their willingness to take risks and learn new skills as well as level of respect they demonstrated.
We want to inform you that Mme Stephenson will be teaching physical education until spring break. Mme Stephenson is excited to be joining our community and offering physical education to our students!
Pink Shirt Day
On Thursday February 28, we will be acknowledging Pink Shirt Day. Pink Shirt Day is an opportunity that supports increased awareness and prevention of bullying in schools, workplaces, homes and online and helps support bolstering children's self-esteem. The CBE supports bullying prevention and awareness and recognizes the importance of Pink Shirt Day. We encourage everyone to wear a pink shirt on February 28.
