Dear families,

Thank you to all those who were able to make it to our School Council meeting last night to learn more about school planning and participate in discussion. Thank you as well to those who were able to make our Coffee & Conversation this morning.  It is always great to connect with our school community, share information and receive feedback.

Learn and Share | School Planning

We know we make better decisions to support student learning when we build understanding and work together. That’s why we are sharing information about school planning and asking you to share your perspectives.

Share your perspectives through an online survey open from February 21 to March 31. Watch this short video to learn about the planning work schools do to improve and support student learning.

Please see our Planning and Engagement Presentation 2024-2025 of our school development plan and school budget and fees information. We would be grateful if you could take the time to read through the slides before sharing your perspectives through our online survey.

The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback from families on school planning, which includes the school development plan, school budget, and school fees. When students, staff and families work closely together, students experience greater success. Click HERE for online survey

Thank you!

Pink Shirt Day – Wednesday February 26

In response to a new Grade 9 student being bullied for wearing a pink shirt, two Nova Scotia high school students took a stand against bullying by distributing pink shirts to all the boys in their school to wear. This act of kindness has grown into a symbol against bullying in schools across the globe.

On Wednesday, Feb. 26, wear a pink shirt to help spread kindness and a sense of belonging!

Promoting inclusion is something that occurs in our schools every day. Check out some of the information and resources available!
