Dear families,  

As we head into the winter break, we wanted to take a moment to wish you all a joyful and restful time with your loved ones. Whether you celebrate a holiday or simply enjoy the season, we hope the winter break is filled with warmth, happiness, and cherished moments. Please note that our next weekly update will be shared on January 10, 2025. 

Return to School 

We want to remind families that school resumes on Monday, January 6th. We look forward to welcoming everybody in the new year! 

Staffing Update 

Please join us in welcoming Mme Tammy St-Amour to the School Secretary position. Mme Tammy has been a School Assistant at King George School since 2012. We are excited for her to be joining the office team!  

Travelling Exhibition Program (TREX)  

We will have the What’s Held art exhibit, from the Alberta Society of Artists Exhibits, on display in the Learning Commons from January 6th to January 22nd. This is exhibit, curated by Kiona Callihoo Ligtvoet and Robin Lynch, highlights how memory, land, and identity are all deeply interwoven. This exhibit will support our school community in working towards our TRC Commitment.
