Warm Feet for the Street

Our grade 3s are working on citizenship project as part of their curriculum. Here is a note from 2 of the students:

Dear families,
Our school is participating in Warm Feet for the Street through the Mustard Seed. This is where we put essential items in socks for donations to people experiencing homelessness. As winter temperatures drop, the campaign helps ensure that those in need have access to necessary items. Students are invited to fill up some warm winter socks with essential items like personal hygiene (mouth care, deodorant, soap, etc.), facial tissue, gift cards, special notes/messages, etc., and place their socks under our school Christmas tree outside the office. We do ask that all donated items are new and/or unused. The last day of collecting the socks is December 19. We appreciate your support!

Fun Lunch

The next fun lunch is Thursday December 18 through Healthy Hunger (Subway) order deadline is Sat. December 13 at 11:59pm

Students in grades 1-5 are requested to see their lunchroom supervisor if they are missing any items. Students in Kindergarten can connect with their classroom teacher. All unclaimed clothing will be donated to a local charity on December 19. Thank you!
