Dear families
Walk to school week was a great success! Thank you to our School Council for organizing the walking busses, and bingo cards and prize; and to our Student Advisory committee for organizing a walk around the school field so the the bus students could also participate in Walk to School Week. Our Student Advisory is thinking of ways to have less traffic near the school where our students walk, especially on 9th street near the Kiss and Go. One idea is to park a short distance away (1 - 2 KM) from the school and walk.
Bingo Cards have been collected and we will have a draw for a prize on Monday!
Language Program Monitoring - 5 minutes of your time
King George is participating in French Immersion program monitoring created by the CBE. We ask that parents complete the quick survey to help us get an idea of how we are doing and what our next steps might be. We are also surveying grade 5 students at the school and all staff.
