Welcome to June!  How did the last month of the school year come up so fast?  It is hard to believe that there are only 4 weeks left and still so much learning to do!  

We are looking forward to sharing our learning with you at our Celebration of Learning on June 18 (Save the date!) 

Thank you to all the families who participated in the Walk and Bike to School Week.  Thank you to our School Council for organizing this fun and informative event!

School Fees 

This is a friendly reminder to check your CBE account for fees owing before the end of June.  

Volunteer Tea 

The volunteer tea is going to look a bit different this year because it is our Grade 3 students that are hosting it as part of their big project on volunteering. They are so excited to welcome you into the school and show their appreciation for all that you have done for our school community. Whether you supported fundraisers, joined us on field trips, read with students, helped with special lunches, helped in the classroom/in school activities, planned behind the scenes and so much more, we want to acknowledge and thank you!  

Join us for our volunteer tea on Friday, June 12 from 9:30 -11:00 AM.

Volunteering and Parking 

Dear Parent Volunteers, 

We would like to begin by expressing our sincere gratitude for the time, care, and support you generously give to our school community. Your volunteer efforts make a meaningful difference, and we deeply appreciate your partnership. 

This is a kind reminder regarding parking at the school. Please note that staff parking is reserved exclusively for staff members and is not available for parent volunteers. While there may be times when spaces appear open, these spots are often needed for staff who may arrive later due to appointments or other responsibilities during the day. 

We kindly ask that you help us keep these spaces available for staff when needed. Your understanding and cooperation are very much appreciated.

Bus Registration Deadline – Sunday June 14

IWe want to remind families that the deadline for bus service registration is June 14, 2026. Registering prior to this date will ensure that students are added to routes for the start of the school year.

Library Exchange – Year End Process 

The last day to exchange library books was today, May 29, there will be no new books signed out to the students for the remainder of the school year. We ask that all books are returned to school by June 5.  Thank you for your support. 

Reminder – Kindergarten/New Grade 1 Student Orientation 

We will be hosting all future Kindergarten parents and students, as well as new grade 1 students, at an orientation from 6:00 – 7:30 PM on Thursday, June 4. We look forward to meeting our future students! 

Family Movie Night – June 11  

Our parent council will be hosting a FREE family movie night from 6:00 – 7:45 PM. More details to come.
